I found a magenta Mexx jacket on sale, and I had to have it. But it lacked character. So I changed the magenta plastic buttons to a decorative acrylic and added rabbit fur cuffs, an inspiration from something worn by Betty on Mad Men season 1.

I loved it. Until someone said I looked like Mrs. Claus. Then I doubted myself.

Thanks to my new fascination with clothing dye, I created an ermine out of that rabbit.  I chose a magenta dye, dotted the sleeves with a sponge, and voila. Mrs. Claus became Ms. Hot Pink Ermine.
