In the 1990’s, I made my first on-line order, and it was from Victoria Secret. It was a long silk-knit gown for a VSO season opener back when I was the Associate Director there. Since then, it has languished in my closet because it was out of fashion.
It is my favourite colour, and I loved the neckline, so I brought it into the daylight to shorten it by gathering it unevenly and in a variety of places below the bustline. I liked the look, but it lacked whimsy.
Kristina offered a series of 3 vintage buttons, and I added to the back a vintage bowtie strung out.
I wore it out to a staff dinner at Christmas.
